Refund Policy

When we issue refunds or credits, and how to ask for one.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Introduction

We want Halvyn to earn its place in your stack. Circumstances change, and this policy sets out fairly when a refund or credit is available for a Halvyn subscription.

It applies to every paid plan — Starter, Professional and Enterprise — whether billed monthly or annually. By subscribing you agree to this policy alongside our Terms of Service. The Free plan involves no payment and is not covered.

2. Refund eligibility

Full refund. You may be eligible for a full refund of a charge where:

  • you request it within 7 days of the charge for a new subscription or renewal;
  • you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling;
  • you were charged more than the price of the plan you selected;
  • the service was materially unavailable to you and we could not resolve it within a reasonable period.

Partial refund or credit. We may offer a pro-rated refund or service credit where:

  • you downgrade an annual plan and the amount paid exceeds the value of the new plan for the remaining term;
  • a paid feature of your plan (for example SMS or voice alerting) was unavailable for an extended period.

After the first 7 days of a billing period, cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period remains active until its end and is not refunded.

3. How to request a refund

Email contact@halvyn.win from the account owner's address with:

  • your name and organisation name;
  • the invoice number (shown under Billing → Invoices);
  • the date and amount of the charge;
  • the reason for the request, with any supporting detail.

We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and tell you the outcome within 10 business days. Depending on the case we may offer a full refund to the original payment method, a pro-rated partial refund, a service credit applied to future invoices, or a fix for the underlying problem at no extra cost.

4. Refund timelines

Once approved, refunds are issued through our payment processor to the original payment method:

  • Credit / debit card: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement;
  • UPI, net banking or wallet: 3–7 business days;
  • Service credit: applied to your account within 2 business days.

We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or card issuer. If a refund has not arrived within the stated time, contact us and we will investigate.

5. Non-refundable items

The following are generally not refundable:

  • billing periods that are more than 7 days old, except as set out in section 2;
  • usage-based charges already consumed, such as SMS and voice alerts;
  • periods during which an account was suspended for breaching the Terms of Service;
  • outages of your own systems detected, or missed, by monitoring — see "Availability and accuracy" in the Terms;
  • dissatisfaction with a feature that worked as described on the plan you purchased.

6. Cancellation

The organisation owner can cancel at any time from Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to the Free plan — your monitors and history are not deleted. A cancellation made within 7 days of a charge may be refunded under section 2 on request.

7. Disputes

If you disagree with the outcome of a refund request, reply within 5 business days and it will be reviewed again by someone not involved in the first decision. Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — a chargeback filed without contacting us first may result in the account being suspended while it is resolved.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. The policy in effect when a payment was made governs that payment.

9. Contact

Refund and billing questions: contact@halvyn.win, or through the contact form on this site. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
